I know we need new CBs but we don’t know how long it will take to get the quality we’re after. Would anyone sh1t their pants if we played against West Ham with Reinaldo and Ballard in the centre and Huggins on the left with Hume on the right?
Probably a few

Bring back Jean Yves Mvoto

Aye it seems we have moved up several levels already

i never in my wildest dreams thought a max of 3 of our squad from last season would make the first 11 on the opening day

shame for some of the lads but it was needed if we want to survive, the club are certainly going for it !

I think as fans we’d maybe thought ‘bank the money, go down, come back stronger’ route was ok.

Club simply didn’t get that memo.

Definitely a couple of centre backs and I'm a little worried about the lack of goals so a striker also. Something different to what we have..A big strong target man who is also mobile. Another winger would be nice but I'm relatively happy. I'm sure the club know what we need.
Strikers on his way in Guiu

My worry with that is Bowden on the right. I want Reinildo marking him from left back. If necessary, I would prefer Seelt or Hume at centre half. Think we’ll get at least one defender in this week, likely even two.

Great news. Its all coming together nicely

There's definitely things going on with the squad that we don't know yet.

Who'll be going, I'm still expecting a few surprises?

RLB seems to be trying players in different positions and some, like Harrison Jones, who you wouldn't expect to be in the squad.

I think he's trying out Talbi, for example, to see how they get on but with no intention of playing them in the first game.

He doesn't need to see how Le Fée will play, he already knows.

I think he'll keep Roberts, Moore, etc because we've already paid for them and they'll have a role at the club.

Still two weeks until is all goes mad <cheers>

He’s also more of a classic 9 too. 6ft 2 and uses his strength well but is also quick
There’s a warning with this comment. I have a Chelsea obsessed mate. Londoner who lives in Leeds but is constantly back and forth, even reserve games. Kept sending videos of Guiu saying they should play him reckons they wasted on Delap. Guess what ? Reckons he’ll score a hatful and keep us up and says our fans will adore his work rate. warning? He said similar about Burstow

I could see Dan at Brentford.
Think he is definitely leaving. Might be a late one if the club want too big a fee versus buying club. Might even end up as a loan with obligation if the club dont budge on a valuation. I believe there is quite a bit of interest, so lets see how it plays out. One thing I would bet my hat on, Neil wants to play football. I respect that. He isnt doing that with Xhaka here, not starting week in week out. Too many players happy to sit on a bench these days for me. Sod that, you have one career, you have to play. Even if as some say, he is a middling championship player, then I would respect him playing 40 odd games in the championship week in week out, than scratching about for cup games and 20 mins here and there. As the world and his wife knows I think he is better than that but in his shoes I would put playing week in week out above most things. He has had his golden moment with his boyhood club. If we have indeed outgrown him, better he leaves with that high in mind for me.

I’ve seen a few worries about the scale of change in the club which is probably a fair concern however our injury list currently includes:
Patto, LON, Alese, Hjelde, Mundle, Rigg, Isidor

All of who arguably have a sizable role to play in the squad overall

I also think Roberts may start ahead of Talbi

got think Neil is off though. Backed himself into a corner with the contract and basically seen himself out the team

Talbi will play the first game unless we sign another right winger

I think Neil would be getting minutes now if he accepted his contract offer
