David Bruce mentioned at the after golf event a few weeks ago ( have I banged on about it enough yet) that the criticism was hard to take last year after everything they’d explained about their plans and how they were going to implement it. He didn’t dwell too much on the negativity but you could tell they were surprised that some weren’t listening to what they were saying. What I will say is that this transfer window has blown everyone away and if relegation (no chance of it in my opinion) does happen the same supporters will

If we sit back and really thing about it, we've spent upto 30 million quid on a midfielder and everything in-between because the owner clearly knows you get what you pay for.... is it that mental to think that in 2025 an owner that clearly knows how football works and what you needs, especially with strikers and how much they costs.... that he isn't looking at strikers for that much money? Like you... love it me like.

Neil not getting a minute says a lot. It’s disappointing but the contract situation forces the clubs hand.

Not meant as a dig at Neil at all, but even just after today, you can see the massive gulf between him and xhaka. And there will be a load of xhakas quality and better that we’ll be playing against next season.

Prefer him to stay, but if he won’t sign a deal, let’s try and get 8 figures and address the areas we need top quality in

No idea why it hasn’t happened, thought it would be nailed om after promotion. Shame really, is there a way back after seemingly being stripped of the captaincy?

Aye rlb coming out saying in the press we likely have a new captain aint good for our current one

Looks like he chose to run his contract down and its backfired imo

he wont get a better move than us

It does look that way.

No doubt he loves club but has his agent given him ‘captain hang on we get you £££’ and it’s backfired badly cos we went up?

There’s no way he’s first 11 now, no way on earth. He’s 5th choice CM.

It’s a shame but we are moving into a new period and progress will always see casualties.

Aye it seems we have moved up several levels already

i never in my wildest dreams thought a max of 3 of our squad from last season would make the first 11 on the opening day

shame for some of the lads but it was needed if we want to survive, the club are certainly going for it !

I know we need new CBs but we don’t know how long it will take to get the quality we’re after. Would anyone sh1t their pants if we played against West Ham with Reinaldo and Ballard in the centre and Huggins on the left with Hume on the right?
