Yeah it’s a bit odd. I’d say we’ve pulled out for whatever reason and they want media or the selling club are sticking the knife in. It doesn’t make sense at this point - they’ll have sounded the agent before anything. Either way I’m sure we have a plan so no stress.

Yeah I think he's great. Think he ends up playing as a 10/8 so I'm interested to see where whoever buys him plays him.

Tbf I’ve been interested in seeing if we would loan him for a few weeks. Felt like something up our street. I just would have preferred a buy option so when he inevitably goes back we aren’t heartbroken because we can’t get him back haha

I just watched them Xhaka vids meeting the lads and such and he just looks alpha as **** doesn’t he.
