Who's picking a fight <laugh>

Dear me, if you can't handle the slightest bit of banter you need to grab your comfort blanket mate ...

... the lads I was with at Hearts took the mickey out of me relentlessly, on a three hour pub crawl.

Calm yersel down man, you're supposed to be a moderator so try to set a better example.
What I said was banter then, you certainly bit

I’m not as confident about Isidor but he’ll sure get the chance to impress. Playing against higher lines will certainly help his game - Coventry away in the play offs a canny example.
I get that, I think receny bias plays in because the second of the season him and the team were poor. But he was injured, in and out the team, the lads weren’t really trying to

his finishing and shot placement is good, the stats show that and his movement is good, hopefully a fresh start in the premier league we get the Wilson we had pre February when he was fit and the lads hadn’t given up

Not at all, none of us fans want him for £40m - We have been linked with him for weeks, we have been linked with Guiu for weeks too, it's just the agents doing their job and click bait sites having a field day. My mate is an avid Fulham fan, he is happy they are looking to upgrade him, he said he is deceptively slow, bang average and he would have been happy to hear he has been sold for £20m, the fact everyone is talking £40m he is laughing his socks off.

Guiu - His goals could be the difference between staying up and going down, I hate loans with no option and nobody is going to be offered an option on this one. A gamble because if you stay up and he scores 20 goals they need replacing next season and you have just increased the value of him but back to square one. If you go down you still lose a striker and you need to attract another one, but this time as a Championship club

A few days ago someone reported we had agreed terms with Fulham and the player, we were just waiting for Fulham to get their replacement in place, it's all nonsense.

Anyway, good luck, I would be relieved if you sign either and we don't as I don't believe they are the answer, if we do sign one I just hope the club have made the right decision, so far they have done an excellent recruitment job so I have to have faith

Agree about Muniz mind. Canny player, but that is a lot of cash for him.

Leeds or Sunderland will not sign a striker guarenteed to score 20 goals

I’d be surprised if we signed one guarenteed to score 10

Looking at it as a realist there's a tipping point that's quite pronounced.

Once you start to get into the realms of 20 goals a season the player will be worth more than we can afford and snapped up by a bigger club.

If he's good enough to score 20+, in a relegation side, he'd have probably been signed for one where he'll get 25+.

This mystical striker tree must be in Narnia.

I agree I don't understand the skepticism, there's obviously a reason Chelsea aren't open to selling him permanently, Mayenda Isidor and Guiu would be very solid striker options

For me it’s simply due to the fact that we have already have Mayenda. I don’t want three strikers who are all a 7/10 and giving a selection headache, I want one who’s a 9/10 and the clear starter every week. If we didn’t have Mayenda and we had an older, established striker I think Guiu would be a great option as a back up. He could come in and bang 15 goals for us for all I know, which would be brilliant.. he’s obviously got a big reputation just would’ve rather had someone further along in his development who I’d expect to hit the ground running. Understand that’s easier said than done but you’d like to take your chances on someone from a top 5 league who’s consistently scored goals rather than someone who’s not really played much football.

I think we'd all like that. Hopefully we will. But those players are the hardest to find, and the most expensive to recruit.

Exactly

a guarantees 10 goal striker here is one that gets 15+ at a better side

we have to find a gem and hope they have a good breakout season it’s a simple as that

I understand that mate but strikers are the hardest and most expensive signings to make, the fees being floated around for the likes of Muniz are crazy and it's not guaranteed to come off if someone like that does come. However if you can get a 19 year old lad who is slightly more under the radar, you don't have to pay a fee and could get double figure goals from him there's a much smaller risk.
