This link won’t go away, seems he’s our first choice target with how much we’re seemingly pushing for it.

All of a sudden there's been a big change in affairs.

For years these international media outlets have referred to us as, 'Sunderland, a club in the NE of England' or 'Sunderland, recently promoted from L1', or whatever.

Now. there just saying Sunderland and, all of a sudden, they don't need to use a caveat. It seems to have changed with the arrival of Ghisolfi and the greater involvement of KLD. There can't be an agent in the world who doesn't know the former or a supporter in mainland Europe who doesn't know the Louis-Dreyfus family.

I'd guess that players, and their agents, are now suggesting Sunderland more than we're making the first approaches.
They're all suddenly linking themselves to us and every 'journo' and source are jumping on the bandwagon. At this point, in a PL window, Speakman would've been buzzing round like a shop window bluebottle but I'd bet he's had a few days off.

The name 'Sunderland' is suddenly on everyone's lips ...

... the Mags must be absolutely fuming <laugh>

Just been on the BBC HYS over Isak. Some are blaming the BBC and other media over trying to unsettle Isak and push through a transfer, I **** you not!

And we’re being ran like the way you’d expect successful billionaires to go about business.
It’s much better than a Saudi state or an oligarch throwing money around willy nilly.

Anderson was so much better in my opinion. In fact I would go as far as saying I thought he was the best central midfielder in the tournament.

He was really good. The type of lad who always gives you his game. I'll be surprised if he isn't in the full squad from now.

Who would sell him, at 21 then I think, maybe 20, and keep Joelinton, who's not a bad player, but not young and not as good as Anderson?

Not good thinking that, whatever the numbers said

When you've been brought up surrounded by football you're bound to have a greater knowledge than Ellis Short aren't you ...

... he had the wealth but KLD has done all this and so far turned a profit <laugh>

Stefan Schwarz (Valencia), Lorik Cana (Marseille), Darren Bent (Spurs), Stephane Sessegnon (PSG), John O'Shea/Wes Brown (Man Utd), Emanuele Giaccherini (Juventus) are some of the biggest in my memory but this is right up there with those, perhaps better than most of these considering we're newly promoted.

Schwarz was a big deal for me. Different times and the gap was less then but when we signed him and Bould, I knew we'd be fine.
