    We have signed some genuine top class players over the years. I cant remember signing a more decorated player than Thomas Helmer though, at least in my time. He had won the lot as captain of Bayern. Two time Euro finalist with the great Germany side, once winner. He was elite on club and international stage. He came to us rather than Liverpool. Best not dwell on what happened next of course.

    I see Burnley have 4 players they had on loan last season have signed and a 21 year old Tchaouna from Lazio. 10 players in in total, but quality? We will see.
