Nixon has a story for us this morning, has had some info this window so hopefully it’s a good link to an incoming

if it wasn’t just re hashed rumours from elsewhere he would have broken the story immediately and not waited till today.

just seen it is a rehashed rumours about the Ukrainian keeper

nixon as much as I hate to say it has been right when it comes to us more than he’s been wrong

Seems like Patterson vanished off the face of the earth too, unless is a big upgrade on Patto I’m leaning towards sticking with him
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s thrown his toys out of the pram with all the noises of the club wanting a new number one and him not getting a new deal.

Made the mistake of watching his highlights and decided he’s best keeper I’ve ever seen
We’ll make those kind of enquiries regularly. Request for info to agent. Curious about why we’re doing that at this point in the window and even more curious about why this story was published by Romano. Is it from the agent or selling club trying to flush out competition or is it from us who are in deep negotiation elsewhere.

His Sunday stuff is usually rehashed. Like everyone he’s keen to get exclusives, anything genuinely interesting and it’s released straight away.
To be fair to Nixon, he tweeted he had a Sunderland story yesterday morning well before Romano broke the GK news. I’m assuming it’s the same one. He’s not been too bad so far this summer, called Diarra first and Matty Young back to Salford.

I think it’s due to the prem these days. 2 strikers seems to only work in a 3/5 back.

Defo think we might need to look for a striker who can lead the line with some pace and physicality

Yep. I think Eli will be that guy, as he has the tools. But some help now would be handy while he grows into the league.

Mind, such players are rocking horse ****e to find.

I like Patto and would definitely keep him but I’m not convinced he’s that well liked by the club. Rumours he’s wanted to leave have been around for ages. Purely speculative, I have no ITK status at all. ( except randomly being told about Wilkinson by a board members PA but not believing them and signing Westwood from Coventry from someone in the Cov coaching set up).

If Forest have been in a blind trust since April to allow them to play in Europe, what is the owner doing getting involved?

Palace will be all over this, surely?

The rules are as substantial as rice paper. You just have to fill some forms in saying you don't have decisive influence or control.

Then you can exert all the influence and control you want!

There’s a Sunderland story every Sunday pretty much! He’s certainly got some right this summer though.

A bit daft as I've posted absolutely nothing ITK, for years, but RTG keep embarrassing themselves saying that's all I ever do ...

... and there's always one loser every week posting hilarious 'jokes' about the Consett monorail <doh>

What a sad demise of a once great forum.

Just bumping this to keep the sad lads on the RTG Xhaka thread jumping this morning <laugh>

He does beat his man a fair few times, but his crossing is genuinely pretty poor from what I've noticed. Today especially, but the whole team were off it today.

I know they were ahead of us with regards to competitive games, could we have taken too much out of them in training?
