There comes a time, in our seeming chase of keepers, where we need to not get too far into the risk / potential reward scenario.

I can very much see the club wanting a new one. I get wary with links like the latest. I think we need more certainty in what we are getting. We may well do better with a 30 something keeper, maybe taken from the 2nd spot at a prem club.

He gave me the full story, which was a little distorted on the forum, but it's all clearer now.

I'd been working so didn't have the full sp but I do now, down to who Xhaka was with, what time it was and exactly what he was wearing.

What matters is that it's good news for Sunderland.

We just need the clubs to join together on this.

Haag needs to really have a think about whether he prefers to retain someone who wants to leave (even if publicly he says he will commit to BL if the move doesn’t happen)

We all know that you can sometimes placate an unhappy employee with promises but as soon as it starts going bad that employee with be in that same negative place again and the result might be toxic.
