I meant only startable centre backs. I guess you could include O'Nien, but I wouldn't.

O’Nien has surprised me at every stage which means nowt as my opinion counts for little …

… however, he's been a virtually automatic choice by every manager he’s played for.

If RLB plays him against West Ham there won’t be a single moan from me.

There would be from me

he’s meant to be injured for the first three games!

Wonder if Ten Hag is maybe getting his way a bit here?

I understand the player power bit. But maybe he has played a canny hand here by letting the fans know he wants him and losing too many big players is a mistake. Bit of heat back on the sporting director. At some point you have to back a coach you have appointed, or you start to look the weak link. I have already said I dont see Xhaka kicking up a fuss. A week ago he was staying there for the benefit if his family.

It would be bad for appearances if we coughed up the public asking price. If this rumbles on to next week I would move on personally, as good as he is.

Maybe. But there is no hurry IMO.

I don't see him coming somehow, but I'd say he is one worth waiting a bit for. Personally, I take almost every utterance from players, managers and so on as just noise.

I wouldn't mind seeing us loan Marc Guiu
Not for me, I think he may be a good player but would prefer someone with more games under his belt to compliment Mayenda and Isidor

But again wouldnt be too disappointed - Think he ends up at a top champ club tbh they have said he stays in england

Ipswich would be good to replace Delap

seriously on Isak tho

As hes currenlty contracted, his unwillingness to travel and desire to move whilst contracted means hes off pay and not due a payout of remaining deal when he leaves right?
Should be. If he has refused to travel. Awful behaviour.

Without wanting to seem negative, I struggle to put us ahead of anyone whilst Ballard and Seelt remain our only centre backs. And thats nothing against them two.

The business we have done is great, its the business we haven't done yet which keeps things uncertain.
Plenty of time. Seelt might surprise a few anyway. And I do not have a moments doubt re Ballard. But we will clearly sign a CB.

I think West Ham would turn us over first game if Balland and Seelt start.

Not much point for me I don’t want another upcoming young lad who’s barely played any football, seems pointless when we have Mayenda. Has to be a striker that’s undoubtedly better and a few years ahead of him for me. I don’t want 3 strikers all of whom are about as good as each other, none of whom are good enough just yet.
