They can’t replace him like for like, but what they can do is bring in a couple of top players and change the style so they aren’t relying so much on one player.
With a genuine elite manager they could make it work. They haven’t got that though, so…
It’s nice just to see them put back in their box, tbh. Now they understand regardless of the Saudis and billions and billions, they’ll always be a feeder club where the best players will use them to step up to the top level.
