I still see myself as relatively young (38) and even I remember being on holiday in Spain during the summer as an adult and having to buy YESTERDAYs British papers to catch up on transfer window news. Stuff that was already essentially two days late.
The speed of technology advancement and immediacy of information is scary and I think overall not great for mental health.
And we went up. It was a character forming month!Rumours are linking Utd with MartinezIt's hard to keep up in this thread... I can't remember what happened with Lammens, I think we were quite tenuously linked at one point but was it ever anything more than pure speculation? Have we got any chance of landing him at all or is he United bound?

Sounds like that's coming more from Martinez and his agent rather than from UnitedRumours are linking Utd with Martinez

Not sure hes actually been linked with us, there's definitely quite a few of us that really want him

Same here, I'd love Lammens to joinI don't want to "like" this post because I actually hate it haha, but thanks for the info![]()
yeah was mentioned this morning i'm sure, positive signshttps://www.getfootballnewsfrance.c...d-premier-league-interest-for-bafode-diakite/
Has this been posted yet? Lille apparently buying their Diakite replacement
. Overall seemed really upbeat about our chances but the Xhaka thing has clearly made him take notice!Had a work meeting with a new supplier. He spotted all my Sunderland gear on my office wall and we got talking footy. He is a West Ham fan and clearly obsessed with all things footy. He thinks we are making a cracking fist of our signings and if we get Xhaka he reckons we survive. He asked why do Sunderland fans not rate Patto - I said because there are no specsavers in SunderlandSeriously - he was really surprised we might replace him. I said we might be shy of some goals and he said no West Ham player has scored 12 in the last X seasons and it has never felt a problem. I did say they have Bowen though. Genuinely interested to listen his thoughts on Xhaka and centre forwards. I tend to lean to a CF that can bring all the wide lads into the game with his back to goal but we will see. He asked about ONien and his view let him come on and wind players up - they will hate it. He also about Neil because West Ham have been linked in the past - I told him he was better than Bobby Moore and Trevor Brooking combined

I’m guna be fuming if I’ve been shouting boomxhakalaka everytime I enter a room for 2 days straight for nowt like

Someone I sat near for the Millwall game screamed bald every. Single. Time. Alex Neil stood up, so childish but brilliantA bloke in the South Stand, for the Coventry game, shouted ‘Sakashitto!’ absolutely every time he got the ball …
… it went from being weird to really annoying and all the way to hilarious![]()
Just a reminder.
Note that Jobe or his agent never publically said he wanted to leave. Everything pointed to Jobe loving it here - and he'd probably still echo the same sentiment.
"Louis-Dreyfus is understood to be reluctant to sanction his sale because he is considered to be a crucial member of the team."
