The Jobe situation was interesting because it was gently nudged towards a conclusion and managed from a PR perspective. All parties seemed to benefit from the deal, and he was allowed a positive goodbye after his achievements with the club. I don’t think many fans are bitter at him for leaving. Hopefully the same for Xhaka. He deserves to send a positive farewell message without a load of abuse. He captained the invincibles team and is entitled to seek a new challenge if he wants to, providing Leverkusen get a reasonable deal.

Priority 1 is developing them to be good for us but if they aren't going to be good enough for us then a loan move shows teams what they are capable of in senior football
Keeping players for too long without giving them 1st team minutes (and good minutes not just wee cameos at the end of matches) can prevent them from developing and can massively impact the career they have
