Where is that? They’ve been saying it’s close all day
Plettigoal above. Says a deal is “not yet in sight”. That’s not close in my language

Yeah I can see thatUp to 20m is key there. 15 plus add ons will do it I reckon
Ah sorry.im talking about the price mate. There’s no indication at all we are happy with the price Leverkusen want… yet

Yeah I can see that
Agreement on a fee yes, that’s why we are negotiatingPlettigoal above. Says a deal is “not yet in sight”. That’s not close in my language
Btw Xhaka and ETH were reported to have fell out a few weeks ago

You can hear it in Ten Hags comments tbhBtw Xhaka and ETH were reported to have fell out a few weeks ago
Since when were players personal terms 'officially' agreed before fees between clubs. I know this would have often been done on the sly but ive never known it been common knowledge like it seems to be now.
My instinct is it’s more opportunism, whatever Ten Hag says out loud. Brinksmanship laced with annoyance. I’m not a fan of Ten Hag. His people skills appear lacking.Still this then. They seem very desperate to keep him and it's going to be interesting to see what fee it needs to get too...
£15m is incredibly lumpy for a near 33 year old to a newly promoted club. It’s basically a write-off.Agreement on a fee yes, that’s why we are negotiating
£15m for a player of his quality is worth it and after him saying how much he wants to come and has verbally agreed I think we will get it done fairly soon
clubs can give permission to negotiate terms before a fee is agreed. It doesn’t have to be on the sly. For instance we let Jobe go and speak to all those German clubs
I honestly don’t see the issue for a player of his quality on a one time thing this window. He could be the big difference between relegation and staying up. Also the agreement of a three year deal shows we think he can be useful to us for a good few years£15m is incredibly lumpy for a near 33 year old to a newly promoted club. It’s basically a write-off.
So Ten Hag is talking pump then? You cant allow a player to talk to other clubs whilst putting a 'Not for Sale' sign around their neck?
Jadon Sancho likes thisMy instinct is it’s more opportunism, whatever Ten Hag says out loud. Brinksmanship laced with annoyance. I’m not a fan of Ten Hag. His people skills appear lacking.
Or Roy Keane back, but playing! If we get Xhaka, it will be like having Bally back in the team.
