Agreement on a fee yes, that’s why we are negotiating

£15m for a player of his quality is worth it and after him saying how much he wants to come and has verbally agreed I think we will get it done fairly soon

yeh that’s what an Arsenal fan mentioned earlier on. Said Xhaka loved playing under alonso and fell out with ETH quickly. Losing 5-1 to Flamengo u20s can’t have helped like :D
 
Also bear in mind Xhaka agreed terms with NEOM and wanted to go there. Leverkusen have been expecting to lose him for weeks. This is all just negotiating

clubs can give permission to negotiate terms before a fee is agreed. It doesn’t have to be on the sly. For instance we let Jobe go and speak to all those German clubs

£15m is incredibly lumpy for a near 33 year old to a newly promoted club. It’s basically a write-off.

So Ten Hag is talking pump then? You cant allow a player to talk to other clubs whilst putting a 'Not for Sale' sign around their neck?

I honestly don’t see the issue for a player of his quality on a one time thing this window. He could be the big difference between relegation and staying up. Also the agreement of a three year deal shows we think he can be useful to us for a good few years
 
I wouldn’t pay 20mill for the record. I don’t think we’ll have to though. It’ll be one of them where they say they’ve won and and gut their money and reality appears a month later. I’m 75% we get him now though
