All it would take is for a ref to send a couple people off for doing exactly that and players would stop doing it. I’d be happy for them ruining a couple games to get rid off that behaviour

It's not known exactly why Lauriente's deal was pulled, other than it was our choice and is "expected" to be something to do with not finding an agreement with the player.

even if he is trigger happy with head coaches, I get the impression that at Sunderland its KLD who will decide if RLB gets sacked or not. Ghisolfi and Speakman would need to find the replacement and make recommendations, but I reckon KLD makes the decisions.

In an ideal world we'd get 2 of the 3 cb linked and a new keeper but we havent got an unlimited budget, especially when we need other improvements.
Just a thought as the keeper links had gone really quiet while being linked to move top cb. Knowing us we'll sign a keeper out the blue
I honestly think if we got 2 of the 3 CBs and a keeper I'd be happy and actually fairly confident we could survive. We could maybe use one more winger since Mundle got injured but other than that I think we're in quite good shape. There's a bit of a clamour to upgrade up front but I'm pretty happy with Mayenda and Isidor, for the first half of the season at least.
If we upgrade both CBs, GK, and striker, literally the only player left in our first team who was already here permanently last season would be Hume...

I want to sign a Striker who is a bit different to the ones we have got, someone physical who can hold it up but wouldnt be worried if we didnt
