Is Al Hilal one of the teams owned by PIF ? if so you would imagine they only need to get a deal agreed with Isak as they would buying from themselves and just a moving round of money exercise

Wouldnt be surprised if the premier league look at this deal

We could be getting to the stage where we need movement from other clubs before our now top targets become available. There’s still 6 weeks to go, plenty of time to go and patience required :emoticon-0107-sweat

See I don’t believe this is true. Maybe yes when we were in the championship waiting for PL loans but nah everyone is usually available for a price. Don’t need to wait for that you just offer and make bids. We have been linked with plenty of targets we will be working on one of them.

Also RLB stressed to Phil Smith he knows we need the reinforcements in for Matchday 1 and that’s what we are working on

They’ll probably send him back to the unwashed on a 2 year loan deal to cook the books or something

Yeah, I seen that quote but ultimately, I’d rather wait until the last day of the transfer window to bring in our top targets rather than bring in someone 4th or 5th choice just to have a player in for the first game of the season.

Surely it’s sensible to bring in a replacement before you let certain players go. Pretty sure that’s still a thing especially the closer it gets to the transfer window closing.

Not really, I don’t think it is much of a thing. Maybe for the odd target. There would be no point in a club signing a replacement if they hadn’t left or were in talks to leave in the first place

Guess we’ll not know for sure, but I can agree to disagree on this one mate.

Should’ve signed Cunha when they had the chance and then sold Isak. Would’ve still had mega money to drop on a several others. Play Cunha as a proper 10 instead of that knacker Joelinton and sign a striker plus a top RW. Or play Cunha as the 9 and sign a RW and a 10. Could’ve transformed their team but their ego is too brittle to let him go.

terribly underestimating what Joelinton brings to their midfield 3, him, tonali and Bruno have complimentary attributes that with their style of play make them one of the best midfields in the league unfortunately
