Performance metrics are usually multifaceted, things like appearances, goals, trophies etc I've never heard of an £8m fee for one metric, especially one that the club isn't in control of.
Could easily be done in half a season though, for a club like Benfica.

Ridiculous mate, I think they sold Nunez that year too and he was bought for about £25m I think. Their academy has to be the best in world football, just churns out talent and they bring in mega money every time without fail.
