I think we do need to add a few more experienced heads if we can. The striker position isn’t in desperate need so would make sense and he’s still scoring double figures.Hard pass on Vardy.
Think i've said this previously but with some of the signings we've made and other links we've had, when we are linked to types like Ramsdale and Vardy it kind of feels boring if that makes sense. Perhaps i've been spoiled and i'm acting like a child
Don’t want Vardy. He’s a prick and he’s done at PL level. Don’t feel he’d be a good leader he’s just wind up merchant. He’s looking for one last pay day - we know how that’s worked out for us in the past.
I would definitely take him especially on a free, I just don’t think he’d come here, and I dont know if we could afford his wages
What type of midfielder is the Italian lad? A Neil type or more of a box to box? Apologies yet again for my ignorance

honestly not aimed at you but I do think there’s an element of this in some of our reactions naturally to less exciting signing rumours. We’ve definitely been “spoilt” by 6 very exciting signings and links in quick succession. It’s natural there will eventually be a signing this window which is less acclaimed
Yeah 100%. We'll definitely bring in a few who are clearly squad players, I think i'd just rather take a punt on someone with potential over a Vardy type. But that just brings me back to my question over whether experience actually matters all that much.
Probably best comparison I could give is Calhanoglu, but hes a classic deep lying italian playmaker type. Set pieces are brilliant and he dictates the tempo really well.
My only qualm is that he goes to ground all the time when tackling - but granted he wins them most of the time, think he'd be great with Sadiki and Diarra next to him.
Don't know what it is but I've never really liked vardy, if we were to go for anyone with bags of prem experience I would rather go for welbeck
if I had the choice of the two I’d go welbeck but I don’t know if welbeck is an option?
More importantly, with spezias current situation they only want about 5-8million euros sort of range. Cheap for a 24 year old italian international
All of that it’s the set pieces that interests me the most, especially with how few chances we will get in games they could be vital
I tried to find a good compilation to sum him up after watching him a dozen times this season and the first 5 minutes of one of them was set pieces, its actually quite mental.
