It's probably fair to say he's a step down from Petrovic, but we have much less of a sample size to judge Petrovic on.
Ramsdale is a couple of steps up from Patterson for sure.

Same as me mate and honestly I was more excited about Bulka too, but there's definitely something about players with a bit of mystery being more exciting, because their potential could be anything.
We can confidently predict Ramsdale's ceiling which makes it less exciting but all of the evidence suggests that his floor is "Premier League" and we should be looking at that as a major improvement.
Freak injuries or not, 22 appearances in 3 seasons isn't reliable

They brought in Raya for his kicking, but that’s more for Raya range rather than Ramsey being shocking.
Was barely upgraded from the side we beat off 5-0 the signs were Deffo there for a shocker of a season
I think he’s good enough if he has the mentality to cope with 3 relegations and playing for another side that’s tipped to be relegated but he’s just not worth that money in my opinion. He’s fully whammy English, premier league premium price.
He was regarded as very good with ball at feet when he went to Arsenal. Like most keepers he went through a confidence problem. Arteta wanted him to play really high at the time and he found that a bit challenging for a while. Like a lot of players I think he is in need of a bit of love. Arsenal fans loved him and he shone. If we get behind him he will repay us I think. Just dont expect him to be Becker or similar is all.
If we simplify it. Ramsey is yet to have a bad season in the PL.
