Lots of teams in Europe this season i think its a perfect time tbf.
Adding release clauses is a good way to get players maybe above your level to come to the club but I feel like Forest aren't getting what they deserve for MGW. Wonder if any of our new lads have one.
Did it have a flag? That training top on the adingra interview is fire

Hope we arent becoming too ahead of ourselves mind. Ramsdale is far from a poor keeper. He waa the very least of Southamptons problems.
On Patto. I have already mentioned how a coach like Cutler is likely to improve him. Would improve most keepers by all accounts. I wonder how unsettled our coaching upheavals last year affected Patto. When Dodds went didnt we promote the goalie coach and bring a temp in? I have watched how keepers train and it is very much in isolation and the 1 coach is massive to the session. Just wondering if part of Pattos dip in form was down in part to that inconsistency. I would genuinely not be surprised if we see him improve significantly and rapidly under Cutler. How high is his ceiling? No idea to be honest, but for sure he hasnt reached it yet. Lets be honest not many keepers make that save from Moore in the first 90 seconds. The first 90 seconds bit is key. Mentally really switched on. That ability is a hell of a basis to work from. And lets not kid ourselves, football is littered with high cost keepers being completely useless.
I will let the club judge, they know best, but in my head there is a clear argument Patto will improve by some margin under Cutler, and hopefully with some adjustments to our defensive line.
Excellent post and totally agree.. he is still a young man making his way in the game and we don't yet know his ceiling.Hope we arent becoming too ahead of ourselves mind. Ramsdale is far from a poor keeper. He waa the very least of Southamptons problems.

Enjoying his retirement

Well they can keep him thenI posted a link from the Southampton forum earlier talking about Ramsdale. They really rate him highly.
I really am. I did much of last season. However, Fell Top is spot on about the quality of some of his saves including that one that was as important as the killer goal in getting us up. I respect him but don’t trust his decision making or feet. I also agree that they must be clearly better.Well said mate.
I’m not holding any fear of starting with Patto. Of course if there’s a huge upgrade I’d endorse it but for a marginal there’s no value.
Let’s see what this coach can get out of Patts like you say.
Think we all agree that patto is a good shot stopper. If the new coach can get him to command his box open his gob and be able to kick a ball then he might be okayHope we arent becoming too ahead of ourselves mind. Ramsdale is far from a poor keeper. He waa the very least of Southamptons problems.
