His defensive work is shocking, I know people say he improved on that last season but it’s still terrible. And he’s too slow to get us up the pitch. Do we really want to potentially end up relying on player that’s “good to bring on against tired legs for 15 minutes”..? Another player in there and then roberts as 3rd choice would be better imo.

I’ve been chipping away at a Leeds lad from my team. He’s been saying ‘plenty of time’ ‘loads of options’ etc. He’s just said ‘this is now really annoying’
Would be crucial through that AFCON period imo. We NEED to beat Leeds at home and having his experience on the pitch in that game alone, never mind around the squad for the season certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing.

We can try for 6 points first 2 games, be immense.
Tough I know but not far fetched. The mindset of having half what Saints got in a season after 2-3 games could be huge.
