I did have a slight worry about that but then he's only been there one season and started 13 games, he loves the club but has been a downright professional everywhere else so I would have faith in the lad.Tbh this is a bit of a concern for me even if we get him... will his heart be in it? Hope he doesn't lose his love of the game and just "go through the motions" after being forced to leave the club he loves...

Don’t think that’s possible. Unless Roma have cash flow issues, agents mean that isn’t really a thing.Mikautadze is a very very good player he’d be out of our reach entirely if Lyon weren’t forced to sell. There will be many clubs getting involved soon I just hope we’ve beat them to the punch
You’re probably right but I rate our ambition to try, hopefully means our 2nd and 3rd choices are of a very high calibre tooI might get pelters but I think Mikautadze is probably beyond our capabilities at this juncture, we got Enzo because of RLB and Diarra is a young player still developing his game, Mikautadze has played European football now and unless the financial package he gets significantly trumps what Roma or others will offer him, I don't see him coming here, I trust the club know what they're doing however and perhaps they're privy to some external factor we're not fully aware of.

I said other day mika is currently the better player but abline excites me in a different wayYou must log in or register to see media
This reads to me that the club think it would be too hard a deal to pull off
The fact we’ve chased abline for so long intrigues me, never watched him but clearly someone we massively rate if we’ve gone for him at both levelsYou must log in or register to see media

Offers something a bit different to mika and has tremendous upsideIs Abline really that good that Mikautadze would be plan b?
