Pretty sure RLB wouldn't want to lose him. As you say,he's versatile across the front line,he's very mobile running off the shoulder, which helps the style we're going to have to play most of the time,and......the lad loves it here.He knows he'll have a big part to play next season,as long as we keep him away from taking penalties!
Needs to stay on his feet more..... And stop sulking so much

I'm still gutted about Bulka but I don't blame him one bit for taking the money. He's still got plenty of time in his career to come to the premier league later in his prime. His prime might not be as high as it would have been though.

But £10m a year after tax, plus a decent one off sign on bonus, versus probably no more than £2m a year after tax here. I get it. I don't like it, but I get it.

Pace is always handy, especially at the back. Ask Mepham about Wembley
Oh I 100% agree. But when your pace is the reason you are a decent defender in the Championship, it doesn't translate well to the top leagues where the players are just as quick and as strong as you. His positioning is as bad as i've seen but when you're up against Championship strikers it doesn't really matter, in the PL when we're playing the likes of Haaland, Isak, Wissa, Watkins week in, week out it becomes an issue

Agree, but as cover for fullbacks, his pace would be handy.

I don't like it either, and I worry a bit about what it means for the game as a whole going forward. However, for Bulka, this move is life insurance, insurance for life for him and his family. He'll earn £40m tax free before he's 30 and I can understand why he would do it. Career wise,he'll be able to choose what he does from there.

Spot on

We want pace in our team but pace is only part of it - i don't like Tanganga's positonal play or his decision making and these haven't improved with game time

It's easier standing out for a Millwall team where there is hardly any pressure on the team. He didn't stand out that much to me last season and I rated O9, Ballard and Mepham all above him last season (if Alese could stay fit i think hes better than Tanganga).

I'm all for bringing in a few bargin players to the squad but they have to improve the squad not just to make up numbers

I doubt it's true anyway it's came from "the word down milwall according to my pal is he's agreed to come here" hardly a concrete source haha

Aye. If it was a reputed journalist saying "Tanganga to Sunderland - here we go" then I might be looking for more positive optimistic spins on the signing. But until then I'm reserving the right to be as scathing of it as I wish :D
