I would accept him more as a back up RB than I would a CB tbh

I'm not a huge fan of him as a RB but as a back up to Hume (and potentially Huggins) then it makes more sense

If he's one of the 1st 4 choice CBs I'd be worried tho

We played that out of possession, in possession it was usually a 433

I don't think we will change it this year tbh

There will be games where we might tweak it slightly

Tanganga is bad. I understand the fee is low and he can play multiple positions (poorly), but he's a midtable Championship player imo. His speed gets him out of a lot of trouble in the Championship, that won't happen in the PL.

Luis Suárez is mulling over his options
The club is considering several offers for the Colombian
Sporting de Portugal and Sunderland have already shown interest, but he’s also catching eyes in Italy, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia

Not sure a 442 would survive in the prem mind

On a few occasions we did, but we mostly played with 1 CF and then had Rigg in the no10 role and he pushed up out of possession to become a 2nd striker

I wonder if his mobility would mean he’s probably about as likely to succeed at pl level as Ballard tbh, but I wouldn’t see him as anything other than cover. Fully expect us not to do ‘two players per position’ anyway as it’s a bit noddy. We’ll go for defenders that can cover multiple spots plus a small handful of stick-on starters. Maybe Tanganga coming in allows us to get Seelt a season loan. For the price it’s good with me.

It performed well as a defensive formation for us, and was our second most used formation no way it gets totally disregarded as an option

what happened to giving new players a chance? and not writing them off?

one bad club doesnt equal one bad player everywhere they go, have some faith,

there is a reason why we are after them, RLB/KS/SH see something in them, trust that

We’re not playing 4-4-2 with two wingers in the prem. We’d get turned to meat paste on a weekly basis.

It's an Ipswich and Luton signing imo and I can't see us going for him as we have squad players at the minute

Prem is different mate, we will still likely use a 433 where it becomes a 442 out of possession

We might not be after Tanganga though. I think its lazy journalism and perhaps he was on our championship list

They’re on the wrong side of history the way they’ve gone on about KLD and Speakman. Not that they’ll admit it.

I am not saying we will play it with two wingers as such but RLB clearly liked playing the two banks of 4 with two options to counter attack, he will need a squad of players to be able to at least give us options to play two forwards together even if it was just when we are chasing games, I think we need 2 more forwards probably one striker and one bit like Lauriente

Pace is always handy, especially at the back. Ask Mepham about Wembley
