It does seem strange if we let him go. We bring him over from Oz, send him on loan to Hibs, he gets glowing reports there and then we let him go / sell him? That would be odd!
He was in the final year of his contract, it looks like we’re going for depth to begin
We knew no big money signings until July 1st onwards, saying that we got Bijol in for a hefty fee
We’ve now signed two 6’ 3” CBs who score a few goals from set pieces and both can play in a back three
If we continue this trend for the remainder of the window I’ll be concerned, apparently Farke wanted this one when he was at Norwich
Yeah I would imagine you'll start spending soon, not a bad idea to get the cheap squad players in early although I'm certainly glad we've got a couple big deals sorted quick.
I'm assuming Farke will set up more inclined to sit deeper as it's 2 solid but slow centre halves come in who can head a ball. Just got to sort out a striker, 10, keeper then a couple left backs + I assume a LW?

Aye that's the type of value for money signing that Bulka is too - you get one of the best players in their position for sub 20m. These short contracts are worth targeting.
