KS said himself the other week our strategy will change in the premier league as staying up needs a lot more than our current model.

We’re not meant to sign to the coaches system. We’re meant to sign to the clubs system - and hire coaches who work to it as well.

This lad is a good talent mind. Would be a big statement. And I’d hope that it’s still a committee decision so my worries about giving a coach too much power are unfounded. Meant to be a bit of a dickhead from memory, but at least it’s actual like to the positions of most importance this summer:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Would be a bit strange considering RLB came in and the system changed. Signing players that don’t fit his system would make zero sense

Not really. In fact I’d argue it’s largely stayed consistent. He just tweaked elements of it. The club owns the high level stuff. The coach gets to tweak. That’s how you avoid having to buy a whole new team every time you sack a manager.

Latter day Stefan Schwarz type. Really experienced and a step up but perhaps a bit of a dick. That said he’s been good everywhere so it doesn’t seem to hamper his performance.

We didn’t play a similar style to what Regis brought at all like. It’s been different across Mowbray - Beale - RLB
