A lot of the better fullbacks are poor defensively these days, hard to find one that can attack and defend

I'd prefer Merlin to Angelino just because I think he's got the higher upside and wouldn't probably be as good as him next season
I agree, definitely a hard one to get right.

Okay genius. Thanks for the vote of confidence. If and when I give the slightest **** what you think I’ll give you a shout.

Just facts mates, your throwing around shouts that people are being unreasonable when you're expecting perfection in the market.

Ability alone, Angelino is ahead of Cirkin and would improve us, does this mean would should sign him, no, there's intangibles.

Furthermore not every signing can be a development signing, not every signing will be a sign for 5 sell for 30, the game doesn't work like that, yet that's how your trying to run it. There'll be many a player who we buy for a fee and they do a job for 3 years and move on for nowt and again on the topic of Angelino bang for buck a higher calibre of player than anything the promoted sides last year signed and that's why we'll stay up, our recruitment will be next level compared to Leicester, Saints and Ipswich, and thats because of potential signings like Angelino, not Skipp for 20m etc, which is a transfer to really bang your drum about.

It's not only a different level financially, its a stratospheric shift. People who fascinate over the numbers rather than ability and what we look like on a matchday perplex me, unless its truly egregious but nothing rumoured is. Odd hill to die on but each to their own.

Yeah he was, the ivorians reckon he's changed his mind last minute to go to England - want to see how this develops tomorrow.

Followed this winter by two Premier League heavyweights (the names of Liverpool and Manchester United were mentioned) with whom discussions never began, it is nevertheless in the Emirates – in a club whose name has not yet been revealed – that the Bamako native will continue his promising career.

Think I agree, any names spring to mind as I'm admittedly struggling a tad with left backs. It's quite the limited market and I'll I've got off the top of my head:
Miranda
Cardona
El karouani

Miranda for sure. He’s the type we need, composure, decent age.

There’s Ouattara at Monaco as well he’s gonna be exceptional.

One of them though, could maybe get him now, definitely can’t in a year.

Played close to 30 games in a performing side and he loves the ball and loves a run. Absolutely rapid as well.
Tbf I don't think he'll play much next season either, but we need someone to keep us up first of all so I'd be fine missing out.
