This is a sensible post Monty. He’d likely be available and he’d be a superb pick up.
Massive competition and cost barriers though.
Who knows though. We all speculating who we can and can’t buy but actually we’ve no idea what the plan and budget looks like.
Signing PL players probably won't happen in my opinion.
They're being paid too much to drop down to our level and the clubs would want more that we can pay ...
... I'd guess the majority will come from abroad, even Scotland, where prices are lower and wages affordable.
Also PL players we may sign would expect to be starting whereas 'incomers' would be more patient.
Just my thoughts.

It’s a fair assumption, we just don’t know.
Is the clubs plan build for the worst, if we go down be strong, or is its ‘let’s ****ing do this’ and really try and stay up?
We don’t know until we see some actual movement. We know we won’t risk financial ruin and we all are glad about that, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sign 2-3 of another level.

Actually agree with this..Our recruitment team seem have their tentacles all over the place..leave the likes of Leeds, Wolves etc to pick up expensive experienced EPL players
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say we will play 11 men first game.
