I think another point with ELF is how much credit it will give RLB with recruitment team. Could even put in Isidor with that too who he was familiar with I believe.

Players like Ekwah were shifted quick because RLB didn’t think he was capable despite his talent. But he knew despite ELF being a bit of a flair type of player, that he would be all in here and dig in when needed.

Obviously don’t want us to giving full control back to managers by any means, but should be some confidence RLB can identify the right characters as well as quality that this team will need.
Also love the way he was backed by his employers

Just a few names who fit a criteria, anyone who has strong opinions on these lads? Are they any good? Would you fancy him for us in the Prem?

All would be very tidy signings in my opinion. Not so sure about zhegrova and posch as starters though

criteria as in something club looking at?

Zhegrova always been a bit of a maverick, soft spot for those type of player.

Lot of promise but never showed it until 23/24 and then had a bad injury this year.

More likely they just need the wage and squad space for better
I’m not saying they wouldn’t send them out, I just think they’d be more likely to send them to, say, Bournemouth - who have also been linked with Bobb - than here, based on style of play, as they’d see it as better for his development seeing more of the ball and being more competitive.

Nobody think we need to spend big-ish on a striker?

Love Mayenda, said a few times I think he has the potential to be our best player / most valuable asset.

Not convinced about Isidor at PL level, but at the same time wouldn't rule anything out with him, seems a confidence player so wouldn't be surprised if he did well with a bit of luck.

Abdullahi, who knows, he looks a unit though!

Wellbeck been mentioned, I agree would be good to have but I still think I'd like to see some decent money invested in a quality, specialist back-to-goal type front man, if we could get one.

I think Isidor and Mayenda will both translate very well to premier league football

I want another striker though

I think we need 3 signings across the front 3, 2 for a decent fee and one either a loan/free agent/cheap older option.

Can balance that any which way.

Both have attributes to break up play and play from deep.

schlager the more 8 style of the two but has capabilities to play deep.
