Selling Clarke made us a better team IMHOAs always it's about who we recruit, selling Jobe could make us better.... it could also make us worse, time will tell

That looks a tough pronunciation for a Mackem mind. Can we have two onions in the same side?RM option - Roony Bardghji
Talented young winger, out of contract at the end of 2025. Be loads of competition for him but wonder if we might be the best option for him
Did you he not get a bad day injuryRM option - Roony Bardghji

Nice easy chant though roooooonyThat looks a tough pronunciation for a Mackem mind. Can we have two onions in the same side?
Coming of a serious injury too, smells like Sunderland to a teeRM option - Roony Bardghji

Linked to one Utrecht winger, might as well get Miguel Rodriguez in a package deal.Haway then...
You've got £30m to spend on a CM and a RW.
Who we after?
We certainly have a list of players in mind - the replacement for Jobe positionally will be Le Fee I think.Do you think, we have a replacement lined for Jobe, agreed a fee, hence why we are holding out for the asking price and not budging on it?
I think the 2 things can be separate. We have enough guaranteed money now to negotiate deals without having to sell first. Also, with Jobe having signed a new deal last summer (presumably agreeing wit the the release clause) then we are within our rights to wait for the clause to be reached. Jobe and Team Bellingham cannot have any grumbles about that. All this talk of a €40M release clause but with a €30M "agreement" sounds like nonsense to me - why bother with the higher contractual amount in that case?Do you think, we have a replacement lined for Jobe, agreed a fee, hence why we are holding out for the asking price and not budging on it?
If our central midfield options next season are Neil, Rigg. Le Fee, Henderson and 1 other than I'd be reasonably happy. We certainly have a list of players in mind - the replacement for Jobe positionally will be Le Fee I think.
With a defensive midfielder coming in to "replace him".

If it's €30m up front, €10m in performance fees and a decent sell-on clause I'd be happyIf Dortmund want him that badly, and before the CWC starts I think we will see nearer the 40m than 30m,
but anyway
scarf pics galore coming soon!
Other than Jobe, I don't see any of our key players leaving.Catching up with all the rumours on here and elsewhere and so far Jobe, Neil, Patto, Hume Mayenda are all linked away in one way or another.
Add in Mepham might not come back, Cirkin's contract situation might mean he's off that's 7 of the starting 11.
It's going to be a long summer
