Ross Barkley would be a solid addition if he was available/affordable
So far hes essentially the only one that seems both possible and a useful addition.Rosstopher Barclay
28 so no resell value but for £5-8m I think that’s a signing that makes a lot of sense, experience, unit and in a position we need.napoli have an option to buy for £9m but don’t think they’re taking it

Expect him to rock up in SaudiThink Doucoure at Everton is a horrible footballer, hope we dont go there.
Yep, unless Rennes are desperate and he goes back there.Expect him to rock up in Saudi

I was playing devils advocate. He decided to remain in Russia, indeed later signing for a new Russian club, despite the conflict.
My point was that being completely against Hendo purely because he played in Saudi when we’ve signed players who’ve chosen to play in objectively worse places is incorrect. We shouldn’t necessary be blaming players for playing in countries as nothing is black and white.
Being against him for footballing reasons is entirely different.
That’s kinda exactly my point. It’s never black and white.i don’t want to get political, I want to enjoy and talk football.
But it has to be said, where do we draw the line? the UK is supporting Israeli actions in Gaza through daily intel flights out of Cyprus, in addition to D noticed activity of a certain regiment from the same base.
are players in England supporting a genocide by playing here?
Aye of course, you get my point thoughOur last league derby was a draw after the 6 in a row I believe. 1-1 Defoe scored.
Hes not noIs casedei still at Chelsea? Young lad big lad centre mid, could be one we would look at?

I’ll never get a job in our recruitment team at this rate, might have to load up a fifa career mode so I can learn some playersthink he suits more possession based sides
I wouldn’t know where to start either mate. Thankfully, speakman and co are running it, and not us.I’ll never get a job in our recruitment team at this rate, might have to load up a fifa career mode so I can learn some players
100% mate, I’ll stick to watching YouTube clips once announcedI wouldn’t know where to start either mate. Thankfully, speakman and co are running it, and not us.
The difficulty with signing someone like will Hughes is that he’d arrive expecting to play every week. It’s the only reason he’d leave a more established team. I guess I’d anticipate that this wouldn’t be true with Henderson. All hinges on the stuff we can’t know tbh. How much will he be paid? What role has been discussed? You’d have to imagine that the off-the-field stuff would be a huge benefit to us. That’s difficult to argue. On the pitch is tougher to understand but I’d certainly rather have Henderson on the bench than Alan Browne (even if I’m now hoping that AB gets an appearance as I’ve gone all softarse after the finalHe seems to have been around forever yet is only 30.
Good solid premier league player
Would fill a Jobe shaped hole tbf. He’s a class player walks into our midfield
