I’d want someone better then someone who only started 1 game for 16th that’s how you finish 20th buying players like that

Mepham barely kicked a ball for Bournemouth last season and has done well for us. Doyle is only 23 and if a player fits us, that's more important than how he did at another club.

Seelt, alese and Huggins all have the ability to step up imo.

very hopeful for them and wouldn’t be shipping them anywhere.

Ability wise I am 100% Huggins would excel in the PL, if he can stay fit.

The positive is it wasn’t the same injury, he was just so unlucky to get an unrelated major one.

Same injury and he was probably toast.

Two major unlucky injuries rather than niggly reoccurrences

Maybe just me but I dont see it that way. I think most players would hate less game time.

I am not even sure I see a lot of rotation in league games. The Chelseas of this world maybe, or those with European games. But if I look at the likes of Brentford I see a core group who play 30 plus league games. Then I dont see much evidence Regis is heavy on changing the line up too much. There is much to be said for a settled side where he values things like triangles on each side.

I think we have a very fine balance to strike next season. We have progressed so well in significant part by giving young players there pathway. Rigg is here because of his first team appearances for example. And the academy is full of exceptional talent because they know they get a chance here. We have to balance the need for more quality, with the need to demonstrate our academy remains a place of choice. If we lose that I think we lose what is making us special again.

why did Tommy sign for Brighton then if players only move for game time?

he wanted to test himself and prove himself at a premier league club on premier league money.

ditto Clarke and Ipswich.

we’re that premier league club now. Players will come to us to fight for a place.

To be fair we’re not that premier league club now. A few years of survival and development before we’re where Brighton are.

Not sure what they will do with the lad Santos whose been on loan at Strasborg but he is a player! Suspect he will be around the 1st team squad but he won't start for them yet so maybe a cheeky loan bid from us
Santos was who I was hinting at but didn’t want to say it in the case of being ridiculous

also the Argentina CB they signed from boca juniors could be a shout
