I’m out of touch with European talent and even prem talent these days so hopefully others can fill in the blanks but this is my starting position as it stands:

Patto
Hume Ballard New LCB New LB
New CDM
ELF New box to box
New RW mundle
Mayenda

Rest of squad:
New GK
Huggins
Onien
Alese
Cirkin
Neil
Rigg
Roberts
Isidor
Then additional cover in obvious areas.

So I’d make it about 9/10 signings.

Exciting to see what we do.

Quite a few dropping Neil to bench on here. Who do you put in as captain instead? I still think ONien is best for club captain. So if Neil isnt seen as a likely starter he loses the armband in favour of someone else.

Tough one isn’t it but that’s how progression works unfortunately. I’d probs make Hume team vice captain and leave Neil and onien as they are. Neil will still play a lot.

Neil will make the step for me. Will find it tough at start but he will step up.

There’s reasons Liverpool have eyed him for years. Liverpool know a midfielder.

We do need competition for almost every spot though. Build a squad and let form and fit define the starting 11.

He’s been far from Ajax’s best player. Any midfield with intensity or pace he’s struggled

They were terrible last season when they brought him in and their season totally changed course, and they’ve pushed for the league this season with him being a mainstay in that team. And the numbers had him their highest rated players last I looked so he can’t be that ****e. Also Tuchel is no mug he’s not taking him to cheerlead on the sidelines

Seriously mate watch any Ajax game. His numbers are high because he gets 100 touches a game and his passing is still good, but off the ball he's absolutely horrific.

Ajax had a decent LB, Sosa, out on loan last season.

He’d be worth a look, was very good in Bundesliga which is a good paced, physical league.

Good age, Croatia international.

Been at Torino this year, slight injury concerns so right up our strasse <laugh>

Yeah but remember we’re currently playing Neil as the 6.. he’s hardly a world beater himself, will likely never play for England never mind still be getting called up at the age of Hendo and our midfield got absolutely ran off the field by teams as bad as Plymouth last season.

can’t see him not being useful as a squad player.
