All I hope is that we avoid shopping in the Championship. It doesn't work and there's very little value to be found. £15m in the Championship gets you Hamer/Rudoni, decent players yes but £15m in Ligue 1 or an equivalent league gets you one of the leagues better players.
And in Austria, Scandinavia, Netherlands, Belgium it gets you a superstar hidden gem

I’d definitely agree with that in fairness.

I think fitz would be perfect for the Rigg role he has a bit of everything in my opinion
Yeah super creative, worth noting his goal tally is slightly inflated from being their penalty taker and 8 of his 12 were from the spot.

However scoring 8 penalties of 8 is something we are missing too.

I think we will be shopping abroad

I would like some PL experience as well, think it's important we sign a few with PL experience then look at real talent from abroad to mix with the core we've already got

I think the French market will be the one we look at

I think we will be measured.

Ipswich swung their dicks and missed, Saints covered their fannies and did the same.

Leicester, well they’d have had a chance if they didn’t absolutely shank the managerial appointment.

I have reason to believe we have done a lot of scouting in Italy, which did surprise me.

But maybe some of the top teams have more players they are willing to loan with mandatory buy clauses.

I really dont agree mate. But maybe I am an old fart who thinks the modern game is a bit ****e.

How can we love a side as much as we have and then jump to bench most as soon as they get success. It makes playing the game de-motivating. Plus the hardest thing for any coach is to create a team and a squad that is 100% together and committed, not to mention better than the sum of its parts. Signing players is fraught with danger, and the danger spirals as the fees do. If our starting line up next season doesnt have 5 or 6 of the play off team in it I will be a bit ashamed really. And definitely sad.

I dont want us to become like the majority of soulless premier league teams. I would rather we keep giving our best young talent the chance to play. It means the best young talent keep joining our academy. We are onto something special with this group. Personally I would hate to lose the connection with them we have. It has been a long long time since we had a squad and fans as connected as we do now, maybe since Reidy, that was a powerful dynamic that went tits up when we started spending big. Lets not assume we havent got something like that rolling here.
Cap doffed Fell. This is spot on. Along with more pace and physicality into the side, keeping this tight team spirit and the love from and to the fans, are the top priorities for me.

We've got so much going for us and can bring a lot / something different and old school to the PL if we stick with how we are doing things now. Careful evolution is the order of the day.

I’m on a rooftop in Gran Canaria right now and the bar guy says we should sign their right winger.

Looked at the kid and he’s expected to go for 40mill plus.

Aye pal, we ain’t there yet -<laugh>
Moleiro? Would easily have home here!

I think KS and co will know how important the dressing room is, I think it's been a big thing with their signings over the yrs - how do they fit into the dressing room

Some of the best people in our dressing room are the boys that don't play

The key for our success and our players is continuing to evolve, we won't change the type of players/characters we go for - it'll just be a higher calibre of players we go for

Was dissapointed at how little pafundi played, hes a real talent.

Yeah Scalvini could probably keep us up on his own tbh, such an insane talent and not sure they would ever let him go.

Aye Scalvini is elite if he leaves for England it will be Arsenal or City level.

Pafundi is beautiful with the ball. Like a mini Zola. Just Udinese don’t play that way. He go somewhere like Atalanta and soar. He’s not unrealistic in terms of what we look for sheer u tapped ability.

Aye mate, kid been showing me clips my god he looks good. They adore him but they went down.

Produce some plays do Las Palmas, Pedri being the most know currently.
Yeah I was over there in November and visited the stadium. Fabio Silva been canny as well for them

Any of the 3 esposito brothers would be great to, maybe salvatore more of a luxury player but could slot in at any level really.

Shame theyre all a bit too good.
