One thing I dont really understand in all of this is how we deal with the wages situation.

You have to assume Le Fee is on close to what he was at Roma? If we are spending on premier league players they dont come cheap do they? Will they sign with relegation clauses? I doubt it. Then of course what do we do with the lads who have been here for the long haul? Neil is our captain and I bet he isnt on half of what Le Fee is on. Same for Hume, Cirkin, Patto etc. Surely these lads deserve the same pay? One thing we must not do is have 5 or 6 on £40k a week and the rest on £25 k a week. That is not how you create a squad that is together. Big decisions for the club on salaries I think, which may drive the players we recruit.

I think a relegation wage drop and release clause is pretty much standard in every contract these days.

As for the other part, I don't think there's a club in the country where wages are close to being on par across the squad. Everyone has started players that earn twice as much as the lowest paid players in the team. I'd argue that Le Feè does deserve more than Cirkin for example. It's just market economics. Someone will pay Le Feè £50k a week. No-one is offering Cirkin that.

People are going to disagree I’m not happy with that Jobe news.

I didn’t necessarily expect him to stay but the fact it’s done this quick after the final doesn’t sit with me right, maybe just me
Football is so different now, the Watson agreement being announced showed us mate, it's a bit ****

I accept there will be gaps, but I dont think they can be big for those considered first team regulars. So if Le Fee is on £50k surely Neil should be close as captain? What about Mayenda - his wage has to get somewhere close you would think?

I do get that some clubs will have big differences. Liverpool probably pay Salah way more than Robertson for example. But that is a scenario where the context is different. They are going for the big pots. We have built this togetherness and it is that that has to be our platform next season to survive. We cant go and put 5 or 6 players on 3 times what our existing key players are on. It would be a disaster waiting to happen I think.

Mad that Roberts thing! Haha..i bet Ekwah and Alese have something similar.

We can afford it!

Question; is it right that academy/HG players count as double on PSR? If so, does Jobe count? Watson will I know.

Does this simply work as follows:

We get 10 million for Watson
We can now spend 20 million
