Depends on the price, I still worry about him defensively My mates a Leeds fan and he heard they were looking at him
I think a relegation wage drop and release clause is pretty much standard in every contract these days. As for the other part, I don't think there's a club in the country where wages are close to being on par across the squad. Everyone has started players that earn twice as much as the lowest paid players in the team. I'd argue that Le Feè does deserve more than Cirkin for example. It's just market economics. Someone will pay Le Feè £50k a week. No-one is offering Cirkin that.
I accept there will be gaps, but I dont think they can be big for those considered first team regulars. So if Le Fee is on £50k surely Neil should be close as captain? What about Mayenda - his wage has to get somewhere close you would think? I do get that some clubs will have big differences. Liverpool probably pay Salah way more than Robertson for example. But that is a scenario where the context is different. They are going for the big pots. We have built this togetherness and it is that that has to be our platform next season to survive. We cant go and put 5 or 6 players on 3 times what our existing key players are on. It would be a disaster waiting to happen I think.
Ballard probably, Cirkin would surprise me as we signed him in L1 - would imagine we might have paid a little bit when we got promoted to the champ instead
I don't think we do with those 2 Think it was because we got Roberts on a free that city added that With ballard we paid a decent fee, cirkin we added a buy back and I think with the west ham lads we added a bigger sell on % Not 100% sure tho just going by what I've read about those deals
Mad that Roberts thing! Haha..i bet Ekwah and Alese have something similar. We can afford it! Question; is it right that academy/HG players count as double on PSR? If so, does Jobe count? Watson will I know. Does this simply work as follows: We get 10 million for Watson We can now spend 20 million
