I'm not a huge fan of him but I'd trust the club if they want him, he has had a couple of really bad years - dont think its necessarily indicative of him as a player.

Yep I'm the same, think he did well at Lille but not done anything since

Obviously would trust the club if we did go for him but think we can do better

Got to give them credit for trying if thats what it is, I reckon he could just be one of a dozen CB options and juve trying to push it a bit.

I do believe there is a "Saudi Tax" when it comes to them but it's not surprising at all. What is surprising is that their fans find it surprising, the relatively normal ones anyway.

There is definitely a Saudi tax. There is also an unwillingness to do business with them or help them at all. I have an old mate from my travels who is a Palace supporter, and he says that the bid for Guehi last Summer would have probably been accepted from any other club.

No difference on the buying side but presents an opportunity to take advantage of motivated sellers. It’s a position we should try to exploit whenever possible.
