Would definitely forgo the keeper and Lauriente if the money could go towards Elliott mind. Now he’d be a transformative signing!
I agree. Mind you I wouldn’t have thought we’d spunk £20m on a keeper until this morning so I’ve given up trying to predict
I don’t know if I agree. I think if we see value and see potential total profit we will pay. Look at the Jobe deal, we know how much players are worth. Elliott playing week in week out could be a rapidly appreciating asset.
Yeah we are always on the look out for value, and we should be, but I think 40m might push it a bit. Although I couldn't predict anything with KLD atm. I knew we'd spend but I'm more optimistic than I normally am, that we're not just going to be making up the numbers.
Aye. I was co rodent we were gonna have a real go but the Bulka link is a real eye opener. Being prepared to spend big on positions we don’t see as a priority makes you think we want to really arrive rather than survive. The calibre of the new DOF supports this as well. I think we will cause a stir next few weeks, we already seem to be with non Sunderland fans just from the links.
True. But with both him and McAtee available at the same time it does increase the chances of pulling off a shock.
Norgaard is a really smart squad signing for Arsenal, and a massive hole for Brentford to fill. People always sleep on these players that sit in and help the starboys play. Norgaard is prime for that, very, very good and very, very important. Arsenal save 120k week v Partey for little to no downgrade. It’s a great bit of business for them.
French journo by the looks. Just seems to be saying we’ve opened talks but MatteMoretto had already said that yesterday anyway
I remember last summer we were linked to loads of nice foreigners and then BOOM - first signing Simon Moore
Couple weeks ago people thought we couldn’t go for Rudoni. Somethings happening we just need the first in.
Dunno about that mind imagine the workday fear going into training against him every day. Poor lad would stroke out.
