Relegation looming most likely.
My mate would settle now for relegation if it meant Chansiri was gone. The bloke is a disaster.
It all makes you rather grateful that we are owned by the opposite type.

I think it means you can't buy a player. Loans possibly. But they have more and even bigger problems coming.Fee restriction as in they can only spend a certain amount on each new player?
Wonder what it’s restricted to.
if they sell enough players, they can possibly then buy using that,
I'm not totally sure on the situation but he would have walked already, he's desperate to leave. If a manager wants to walk he can walk.
no such thing as owner won’t let him. You can’t be held in a job

but no one will pay the 10m comp clause for him
There’ll be some employment laws breached if he can’t walkI'm not totally sure on the situation but he would have walked already, he's desperate to leave.
I also agree that he should be allowed to leave but that's what they've been reporting in Sheffield.
What puzzles me is that when we signed him
last season he ( Aleksic ) was on the fringes of the full Serbian national squad. If that’s the case then surely he is worth persevering with. The odd 20 minutes as a sub or playing in a weakened cup team isn’t going to bring the best out of him. I also felt Aouchiche was never given a fair crack.
They have breached enough of those already by not paying anyone, dont think it would be out of the question. There’ll be some employment laws breached if he can’t walk
So flawed, the EFL approve ****, not fit or proper owners and then punish the club (rather than the owner) for their misdeeds..EFL Statement: Sheffield Wednesday

The EFL can confirm that Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is now subject to a three-window fee restriction after exceeding 30 days of late payments between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.
In accordance with EFL Regulations, the restriction will cover the entirety of this summer’s window and two full windows thereafter (Winter 2026 and Summer 2026).
The Club has notified the EFL of its intention to appeal this decision and this will be heard in due course.
Separately, on 3 June 2025, the EFL issued charges against the Club and owner Mr Dejphon Chansiri in respect of non-payment of Player wages in March 2025 and May 2025. This matter is being considered by an Independent Disciplinary Commission, and because of the ongoing proceedings, the League is unable to comment further at this time.

Correct. May 2024, signed extension to summer 2027Didn’t Rohl only sign a new contract in the summer..? I’m sure I remember thinking why has he done that when the owner sounds crackers and isn’t paying players. May be wrong like!
The coaching staff see him day in day out and can make a proper decision on him, but Shirley as supporters we can’t write him off we should know better after recent signings coming good. What puzzles me is that when we signed him

One of my son in laws best mates is a Wednesday fan and he's a complete arsehole...every club have them. One of my best mates is a Wednesday fan. Gutted for him as he always looks out for our results. Obviously he was very happy we beat the blades.

He’ll be on a fixed notice period m8, meaning to all intents and purposes he can’t work for probably six months or a year. There’ll be some employment laws breached if he can’t walk
