My mate would settle now for relegation if it meant Chansiri was gone. The bloke is a disaster. It all makes you rather grateful that we are owned by the opposite type.
I think it means you can't buy a player. Loans possibly. But they have more and even bigger problems coming.
I'm not totally sure on the situation but he would have walked already, he's desperate to leave. I also agree that he should be allowed to leave but that's what they've been reporting in Sheffield.
One of my best mates is a Wednesday fan. Gutted for him as he always looks out for our results. Obviously he was very happy we beat the blades.
They will negotiate it down. He’s a good gaffer. There’s also the element that if you aren’t paid you have rights to go. Don’t know the timeline of that though.
I dont know how good aouchiche is but he looked like a footballer to me and was rated he didn’t get a fair crack and after the got put back in the squad was more than satisfactory in his cameos, it might be the end of the road for him here now tho.
They have breached enough of those already by not paying anyone, dont think it would be out of the question.
So flawed, the EFL approve ****, not fit or proper owners and then punish the club (rather than the owner) for their misdeeds..
Hard to say without knowing his contract but he would be able to exit the job himself but he might be on the hook for something financially. Knowing Chansiri he'd want the £10m from Rohl himself
Didn’t Rohl only sign a new contract in the summer..? I’m sure I remember thinking why has he done that when the owner sounds crackers and isn’t paying players. May be wrong like!
Correct. May 2024, signed extension to summer 2027 https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cv229wyg4e3o.amp
The coaching staff see him day in day out and can make a proper decision on him, but Shirley as supporters we can’t write him off we should know better after recent signings coming good.
One of my son in laws best mates is a Wednesday fan and he's a complete arsehole...every club have them.
I agree and it’ll ruffle some feathers but no matter how good Aleksic showed he is/was in training he wasn’t starting over Bellingham or Rigg last season - in my opinion of course. Not saying it’s wrong either, that’s just football unfortunately and it paid off because we got promoted and received a very good fee for Bellingham and Rigg is sought after with a full season of experience behind him at a decent level already. Now the problem is that Aleksic won’t really get a chance in the PL because the step up is huge. We should loan him out imo he could defo play in the championship next season from what I seen of his short cameos, very tidy with the ball at his feet at times and physically sound which is where a lot of young lads fall short when they first come to England.
He’ll be on a fixed notice period m8, meaning to all intents and purposes he can’t work for probably six months or a year.
