I'd be a fan of signing Webster, good PL CB imo

 

Good player but i'd be concerned about his injury history and lack of playing time. Hasn't cracked 2000 league minutes in a season since 20/21.

 

The problem I have with the likes of Henderson, Dawson and others in that bracket is that they aren't good enough to play and would more than likely be our highest earner. I just don't see the point.

 

I still come back to thinking we might as well resign Mepham than somebody like Webster. Somebody already established within the unit.

 

Thats fair enough, as with all signings it's all about how much the wages and fee would be

 

Why would we pay a nominal fee for Dawson who’s been released

 

I don't think Mepham even said "goodbye" unless I've missed it. Wouldn't be surprised if we'd already signed him.

Was having a scout about the Czech league and came across him. Thought he'd fit with what we are after.

He's a good player, and a big lad who's been scouter by some big clubs.

Definitely wouldn't be against it.

 

Know anything about the lad at Spartak, Ugalde? Was alright at Twente iirc, started off slow with Spartak but off the back of a good season now

 

Aye I seen he'd been linked with Napoli (I think).

Looks decent, he's deceptively quick too. Maybe in a Ross Stewart massive stride way.

He'd definitely fit with what we're after.

 

I do really like aspects of his game but not for us, he's a little lad and a good finisher but don't think he'd add what we are missing. The game against lokomotiv where he scored 4 and set the other up was pretty impressive.

 

Every time I watched him he was shocking but I know one of the scouts at my club raved about him - think I just happened to pick his poor games as he is highly rated

 

He isn't PL material imo, good technical player and he was loved at Twente but i just don't see a PL player

 

To be fair he can be pretty inconsistent and sparta got murdered in every European game. I think I like him more in a 5 because what he does good is great and he has someone to mop up in a 5.

A bit like bijol where I'm not convinced by him in a 4 purely because it never happens, but he has all the fundamentals to become really really solid.

Is Sulc the kid with the wild assist stats? We deffo need a bit of that.

 

Very streaky even in Russia, and yeah like you say don't think I see a premier league player.

Whereas with Vanat I think there's something there that would translate.
