As much ‘turmoil’ as we can get at teams like Brentford is better for us. Back them to recruitment well and get through but one bad window can do some damage. Hopefully there’s a few teams that do.
This is why I’m thinking we’ll put up a better fight how many of the previous 6 had this many of their players linked to top European teams or non promoted prem teams
They can’t replace Mbuemo. He is a beast. Only surprise is it’s taken so long for him to move. United doing stellar early business.
Happily we did! But we are in okay shape, so I don't think it would have been a fire sale. We still could lose one at least, but far more on our terms after going up.
Mbuemo would be a mega signing for Man U Would be happy with it too as I don’t want him joining the Saudis. He’s class
I was pretty sanguine about the prospect of having to rebuild. Very glad we won’t need to find out how it would have gone though!
Of course they’ll replace them but the likes of Wolves and Brentford losing their better players is a good thing for us. We’ll need a club or two who’s been up there a while now to struggle…
If Brentford lose Thomas Frank as well, they’ll be massively tested this year seeing as he’s been a constant for such a long time
It's a great start but Amorim still needs to realise you can't play the same system every week against premier league teams. I think he's too stubborn to be a success there.
interesting how this is on the back of rumours he turned them down they spin it as couldnt crack a deal?
€25m is not enough at all. That's around £21m then you have to take off Birminghams chunk. I know we probably have some sort of gentleman's agreement but it doesn't mean we let them take the piss.
I would be very surprised if we sell at that price. Even with bumper add ons. Sure the club will strike any deal on our terms only.
In the end probs not much different to the deal we got for Clarke. Shouldn’t even entertain that kind of price imo. Do think this will happen but I’d be hoping for £25m as a start and then favourable add ons / clauses.
