Freeman and Poku are decent “ might be useful now, should be very good in future” signings for okay money. Less convincing argument for Poku as he’s right sided predominantly and I think Roberts is adequate competition but we need a top quality wide player as first choice.
Poku will be 24 when the season starts and he’s had one terrible season in the championship, the rest is L2 and L1. Need to be looking at better than that if we’re looking at players of his age imo. Of course you get the occasional Jamie Vardy but they’re 1 in 1000.
Perhaps but I don’t think he’s good enough to be RW in the premier league and doubt we’ll be signing two right wingers. Paddy is fine as competition and coming in against tired legs.
Only in it for the money, selling at first opportunity for a profit. I assume? Some people are ****ing mad, I have no doubt they would love to keep Jobe but if he wants to leave they will let him and make sure they get the best deal for the club. What more could you want? That's without thinking about the fact this club hardly ever had players others clubs wanted under previous owners. What a difference KLD and KS have made!
I’d personally prefer another option, even as the second. A starting two competing with a versatile third with options from forwards would be my choice with Roberts being neither.
Relying on @JimHeron92 here as you seem to know plenty about Italian football.. could Lewis Ferguson be on the cards? Bologna had a great season but he hasn’t played as much, no idea if that’s down to injury or others preferred mind. Looked good whenever I’ve seen him play though, decent with both feet loves a tackle and can certainly pick a pass. I think they’ve qualified for the europa league with the cup win but obviously had CL this season so the draw of the PL could attract him maybe?
I don't think it's impossible, but probably unlikely - AC, Napoli, Inter etc all after him and bologna only asking for £25million And yeah he did his cruciate last season which carried over into this one, think he spent nearly 300 days out. Then had a couple problems with hamstrings when he came back, just minor though and probably down to so long out.
Nowhere near the standard imo. Seen a fair bit of him, and he might be worth a shot at a championship club, but not prem for me.
Assuming that’s Facebook as I never really go on there haha. Twitter seems to have fans that knew he was likely going and are wishing him well
Tbf out of all the links so far the only somewhat credible ones seem to be about Henderson atm. Singo was daily mail (I hope it’s true) rest are football insider and ****e
