Player coach potentiallyHenderson would be a bad signing. Please go and watch some of the Ajax clips from the end of the season. He's good on the ball but my god off the ball he looks like he's 50 and that's against players nowhere near the level of the PL. Unless he's coming in on a free on one of the lowest wages in the squad, i'm against it.
Defoe was different imo. He literally hadnt kicked a ball in anger for ages. Been coaching at Rangers. Henderson has played at least. I will wait and see what role he has, if indeed he geta one.I think if Henderson returns it may turn out similar to when Defoe came back.
Sounds a reasonable idea but too many have said things like too slow and legs have gone.
I wouldn’t like to see him looking poor with opposition players getting past him easily.
It’s a no from me.
1000% worth having as Hume's backup next season. You must log in or register to see media

Parma love a freak athlete. Bonny, Benedyczak, Man, Sohm, Keita, Circati, even Suzuki in goal.Freeman is just a complete freak of an athlete at basically 6'3, rapid, great engine and good defensive decision making.
Not perfect in possession but he has all the ingredients to coach into a premier league right back, 2million quid for Humes backup could be great business.
Or Pop Robson.Agreed. Although if Paul Bracewell is still fit…..
Pop was my hero.Or Pop Robson.
Leadbitter was neutral. Graham a case of never go never mind go back.
