Because we started last season without Evans, Fofana, Justin and Castagne, and didn't get the younger ones back until the last quarter of the season ... guess when our best run of form happened? ... these are arguably the first choice back 4 ... Harvey Barnes also started last season on the back of 2 knee ops and it took him some time to get back to his best ... we then lost Vardy to a hip op half way through ...
If we can keep the squad fit, there is no reason that we can't replicate performances of the same level as we had in the last quarter I.e. games where we had the first choice XI not where we made 8 changes (or more) to accommodate the European campaign ... that good run included beating Rennes and PSV and more than holding our own against Roma ... so... reasons to be cheerful
