I would still ASM and buy Diaby. Then I’d look to buy a striker. Allegedly we’ve scored this Ramos soo would go with that if that’s who we want. Then get a CM in on loan.
OK, but surely if we just bought Diaby or another player better than what we have it would be better to get rid of bloody Murphy.

Again though it’s clear that we can’t sign Diaby and get a striker and a CM. We have to compromise. Obviously if someone came in with a £10-15m big for Murphy we could accept that and not sell ASM but I get the feeling that’s not going to happen

Newcastle can spend if they want to , but I personally completely agree that if its not good value and if it isn't who you want to just wait until another window.

I am starting to get tired of ASM but he is a biggest threat when on the run.

On players. But not only that they had to put 40m in just to balance the books. They bought the club for 300m and have spent an additional 200m just getting us off the ground and running.
