I would still ASM and buy Diaby. Then I’d look to buy a striker. Allegedly we’ve scored this Ramos soo would go with that if that’s who we want. Then get a CM in on loan.

 

OK, but surely if we just bought Diaby or another player better than what we have it would be better to get rid of bloody Murphy.

I cannot stand Murphy.. he can be in on goal in the 95th and try a chip that doesn't leave the ground.

This idea they need to sell to buy isn't the truth. We're bidding 50ms for Maddison.. the signings are coming .. we'll get beat next week then boom signings and positivity.

Again though it’s clear that we can’t sign Diaby and get a striker and a CM. We have to compromise. Obviously if someone came in with a £10-15m big for Murphy we could accept that and not sell ASM but I get the feeling that’s not going to happen

I don't think it requires selling any of our best players. I suspect one or 2 will fetch a few million over the next couple of weeks.

Newcastle can spend if they want to , but I personally completely agree that if its not good value and if it isn't who you want to just wait until another window.

I fully expect that there's clubs sitting on bids from nufc that will start accepting them over the next 2 weeks.

I would have offered Lascelles to Forrest for 15m I am sure they would have bought him.

 

Forest have done more in this than all game vs nufc

I do think we will sign another attack minded player before the window closes.

I am starting to get tired of ASM but he is a biggest threat when on the run.

 

I'm tired of all our attacking midfielders, but at the end of the day since January nufc have been the 4th best side in the league.

I can't be arsed moaning about it because there's a journey I'm on and it's a journey that's going to be fantastic.

Now hopefully people understand my point in the post.

Forrest have signed 14 players. This shows that if you want players you can get them. I don’t think we should go like that.

But we do seem to take ages to sort deals and our lack of signings may be many things but we do have to take some risks at some point.

 

We demolished forest we've spent 150 million so far

 

On players. But not only that they had to put 40m in just to balance the books. They bought the club for 300m and have spent an additional 200m just getting us off the ground and running.
