He's not here that's just a photo of him. Tbh the weather is so crap atm they better hope he's not here.

So it appears that French Football and Italian football is under the microscope and being criminally investigated by police with regards them cheating FFP, taking backhanders, syphoning funds from transfers recieved and using unrealistic swaps in transfers to massage the books. 2 of the main ones being Lille and AC Millan. In addition Lille have not been paying agents for their previous services.........hence where the Botman rumours have re-appeared from after Italian press claimed he had signed for them. Lille are unofficially Millan's feeder club. Explains why Lille were trying to force Botman to Millan for a lower fee than what we had offered.

I'd rather Cucurella from Brighton, Lodi's alright but Cucurella is better technically from what I've seen of the two of them.

I thought he looked alright, had a decent game against us but in other games wasn't the same player. Decent shout out for a left back that looks like he could be good in a couple of years time.

Reactions: Flash
The minute newcastle ever step over the line the reaction will be like nothing we've ever seen before.

They'll be looking to make an example of a club of no relevance before that though, so they can put everything in place to make it look like they've not singled the Toon out when they go in hard.

They couldn't stop the takeover, but they won't just roll over, they haven't just thought oh ok well never mind. They'll do everything in their power to keep newcastle from challenging.

All of this stuff FFP all the supposed rules regarding 3rd party sponsorship - It will all get re-assessed and it will be the Elite clubs that demand it get's re-assessed. They backed themselves into a corner and are realising their own mistakes. There isn't a single league that can compete with the finances of the PL and the rest have fudged the books and pretty much crippled themselves by "keeping up with the Jones'".

Now you have Chelsea and Everton under the microscope and requiring new deals, they're soon going to realise the dumb as **** knee jerk reaction they made with regards our takeover and the related sponsorship rule brought in.

Everton's accounts have them in an impossible position with regards FFP from a legal stand point. No way they can deduct points in a timeframe to allow Burnley to stay up. That sets a legal precedent of the PL's own making. It will be a large fine - I'd guess tens of millions (West Ham was £20+m in 2006 regarding Tevez etc). From then on in, the profit and sustainability rule becomes a farce that they can only issue fines in future over. At that point the floodgates open with the only other punishment being UEFA trying to ban clubs from its cup competitions (Man City set a precedent here) with a more likely scenario being teams forced to play with a reduced squad size.

Don't be fooled mate you can be sure that the grubby scum are holding all the cards. They can rejig it however they like, but it'll not favour newcastle.

It's all about stopping clubs outside the top clubs in each league. Nothing else no matter how it's posed to be.

So, imagining all todays strongest rumours were true, we'd be adding Lodi at LB, Carlos at CB and Paquetta at CM... We'd be developing a very Brazilian feel to things.
