Nketiah didn’t impress me one bit when we smashed arsenal. Looked OK in the first half, looked like he’d lost interest with the rest of his team mates in the second. Don’t think he’d be Howe’s type of player.
I’ll be honest I’m just being a picky bastard. I just hope we do deals behind the scenes and not made public for other clubs to come sniffing.I think that's a bit unfair on the lad - Arsenal were dire and we had them pinned in for large portions of the game and never took our foot off the gas. - Check out the heatmap on whoscored for both teams - they couldn't make it into the final third of the pitch.

They barely made it to our box and Nketiah had 50% of their shots on target. He got 5 goals in 8 games in the run in - before that run he hadn't managed more than 28mins in a game in the first 30 games of the season (while barely featuring in the first half - 38mins - while Aubergine was playing)
This won't help

It doesn't matter, none of it does. There's countless players out there. Who was familiar with Bruno last Xmas, or Paqueta? Nobody. We need to pay zero attention to the competition and just get our scouting done properly, the conversations managed effectively and sell the dream. We will continue to lose out to Chelsea, Spurs, Man U, City, Liverpool for a while the latter three we'll lose out to for many years to come.
Well it will matter because it'll shake up the market. They could be now after players we've been after. They could also gatecrash other deals and then in turn other clubs miss out on their targets and go after the ones nufc were after instead
It's all bollox unless their FFP allows it anyway ........pretty sure Chelsea have been posting losses last few years so will have to sell before they can buy.
FFP is not there to stop clubs spending its there to keep the order.
It's not what it poses to be.
It's bullshit
Well Man City sure as hell couldn’tWe all know that when it comes to FIFA. But the PL's FFP rules are a bit heavier, can invite legal challenge and those challenges can/will come from important clubs. Imagine Chelski overspend then start running away with the league? You don't think Man City, Liverpool, Man U, etc., can challenge it and win?

The idiot nearly snookered the takeover going through. So, of course, fans will decide he did a decent job during his time.https://www.shieldsgazette.com/spor...die-howes-newcastle-united-turnaround-3708626
