I think that's a bit unfair on the lad - Arsenal were dire and we had them pinned in for large portions of the game and never took our foot off the gas. - Check out the heatmap on whoscored for both teams - they couldn't make it into the final third of the pitch.

Obviously twatter bollocks but if he is we should be all over that, he was linked with a £40m move to Liverpool a few years back and is still only 23... bit like Maxi in that he plays off the left but is right footed but from what I know of him he also plays a bit deeper and can do more defensively.

We need to pay zero attention to the competition and just get our scouting done properly, the conversations managed effectively and sell the dream. We will continue to lose out to Chelsea, Spurs, Man U, City, Liverpool for a while the latter three we'll lose out to for many years to come.
Well it will matter because it'll shake up the market. They could be now after players we've been after. They could also gatecrash other deals and then in turn other clubs miss out on their targets and go after the ones nufc were after instead

FFP is not there to stop clubs spending its there to keep the order.

We all know that when it comes to FIFA. But the PL's FFP rules are a bit heavier, can invite legal challenge and those challenges can/will come from important clubs. Imagine Chelski overspend then start running away with the league? You don't think Man City, Liverpool, Man U, etc., can challenge it and win?
No they couldn't give a **** or not in the same way as if nufc did for example they're already up there and all of them are enjoying the safety that FFP provides
